Employees of a informal military dialect in Ukraine were recently held mining cryptocurrencies using the department’s resources, according to the justice document. They had been mining for 4 months before they got held and their mining plantation seized.
Police Mining Farm Discovered
Employees of the National Police of Ukraine reportedly set up a cryptocurrency mining plantation in their workplace and mined cryptocurrencies for 4 months before they were caught, internal media reported this week. The employees work at the Rivne Oblast informal military headquarters’ Communications Department. This information was suggested in the Rivne City Court request number No. 569/8710/18, Finclub reported.
Ukrainian news group Glavcom elaborated, “In Apr of this year, employees of the Department of Homeland Security of the Police Headquarters in Rivne Oblast identified the [crypto mining] apparatus at the bureau of the Communications Department,” adding:

The review “established that from the commencement of 2018, officials of the Communications Department…abused their executive position, behaving in transgression of the interests of the service,” the news opening quoted the justice document. The employees unilaterally used the electricity of the segment “for their possess purposes, for the correct functioning of the apparatus for the descent of cryptocurrencies, which caused poignant repairs to the interests of the State Enterprise of the Rivne region,” the justice request details.
The policemen are charged with the burglary of electricity belonging to the government of the National Police in the Rivne region, which they used to remove cryptocurrency, but it is not famous how much electricity they used.
In Ukraine, there is now no regulatory horizon for cryptocurrencies notwithstanding carrying mixed proposals. However, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, Oleg Churiy, recently suggested that the executive bank is operative on a check to umpire them.
